Perfect Timing to Fertilize

Just wanted to let you all know that Spring is the perfect time to Fertilize your TREES and SHRUBS. We use a liquid fertilizer that we put down under ground into the root system. One treatment will continue to feed your TREES and SHRUBS for two years, so you won't have to fertilize them again for two years! We Fertilize all Spring and into summer, then again late Fall.

We will be happy to give you a FREE ESTIMATE for Fertilizing of your Trees and Shrubs. We offer Free Written Estimates for all of our services.

Spring is Here! Finally!!

Well after a very long winter, SPRING is finally here. Yes it is despite the snowfall earlier this week. We sure have had our share of rain this April too.

We can offer you lots of good services to get your yard and trees ready for summer. We can do your spring trimming and fertilizing of your trees and shrubs.

It is a good time to set your Pesticide Spray services for June, July and August.

If you have any concerns about your Trees and Shrubs, let us know. We can provide you with a free quote for tree trimming, tree removal.

We also provide Tree Transplanting. This is the perfect time to transplant your trees. We have a large tree spade and can transplant up to an 8" diameter tree.

Floral City Tree Service has large Evergreen trees on sale. We can plant a 20' Blue Spruce in your Monroe yard for $500.00. We will dig the hole in your location with our tree spade and plant the tree. We have several on our site to pick from. Your choice. They range from 18' to 25' tall.

Outdoor Christmas Tree Decorating

We are getting close to the Holidays. Wanted to remind everyone that we do decorate outdoor trees for Christmas. Steve has been doing this for many years and he does an awesome job!! Winter is a good time to trim trees!

Just thought I would let you all know that wintertime is a great time to trim trees. Cool weather slows sucker growth at pruning sites, it also allows for less insect infestation due to dormancy of the tree. With the insect population being dormant the fresh cuts have a chance to dry out and be less attractive to insects when the trees come out of dormancy.
You can also better see the structure of the tree when the leaves were off.
A few trees that should only be trimmed in the winter are Birch, Oak, Fruit trees including flowering crab trees.
